A Walk in the Woods

Autumn!  Here i n the UK it started as soon as the month turned from hot and sunny to chilly, wet and windy!  Even if this type of weather is not exactly suitable for going for real walks in real woods you can stay home and make a junk journal about it.  This is where my new kit comes in as it is called A Walk in the Woods and celebrates all things about the season: falling leaves crunching underfoot, colorful toadstools and acorns, trees changing from green to many shades of yellow, orange and red...


You get 12 A4 sheets comprising four backgrounds, four fancy sheets plus borders, images to cut out, faux postcards and stamps.  All for £2.10 here

To get you started here are a couple of spare sheets that didn't make it into the kit:

 


Of course you can also use them for greetings cards, scrapbooking and any other papercraft use you can think of.  I'll post the second part of this set shortly, Falling Leaves.  Note that this is mostly a photographic kit rather than the usual vintage style look.  I know not everybody loves the Victorian style and autumn is timeless, so let's celebrate how it looks today.

Christmas In Blue

 I was speaking to somebody yesterday who didn't think that blue was a good color for Christmas, but I don't agree.  It is certainly a cool color, calling to mind images of sparkling ice and dark evening skies.  Christmas In Blue celebrates the chilly side of the season with images of snowy towns, Santa on his sleigh riding through starry skies, baubles, foliage touched by frost and snowflakes.  You can find the first sheet in the set right here  This is called Frosty Foliage, soon to be joined by O Little Town.  In the meantime, here are a couple of sheets that didn't get in.  A blank version of the page with the large snowflakes and a page featuring the Little Town for writing on.
